State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli released the results from his new Fiscal Stress Monitoring System, and topping the list is Monroe County. County Executive Maggie Brooks has responded to the report, calling it hypocritical and premature.

The Monroe County Legislature voted on and passed a bill adding a 30 cents surcharge to your monthly cell phone bill. The vote passed by a vote of 20-3 on Tuesday.
